Solid Brass Vintage Door Knob Spindle Set, Satin Nickel

Constructed of solid brass with a satin nickel finish, these vintage style door knobs are perfect for adding a touch of timeless elegance to your interior decor. The set includes a 1/4-inch square spindle shaft and can be easily adjusted to fit doors of varying thicknesses.

Designed for indoor use only, these classic knobs are compatible with square drive spindle systems commonly found in antique and vintage door hardware sets. The set also includes two set screws per shank for securely fastening the knobs to the spindle. For added security, a small amount of Loctite ThreadLocker 271® can be applied to the set screw threads to prevent loosening.

Please note that this knob set does not include the internal mortise lock body, door rosettes, trim and strike plates, or latch and fasteners, which must be purchased separately. If you require solid brass knobs, Prime-Line part E 2297 is recommended.

Installation tip #1: If your door has large, newer style knob holes, they must be filled with a hardening filler before mounting the rosettes. Products like Fix-It-All® or Bondo Body Filler® are suitable options, but care must be taken to avoid damaging prefinished door surfaces.
